Raku
Raku is a very unpredictable technique and each pot will be beautifully unique. Raku is fired at 1000 degrees C and as a result is porous and more fragile than stoneware. It is decorative rather than functional.
Prices range according to size and finish, and visitors are welcome to the studio to see Kate’s current work.

Raku bowls: £20 – £80
Raku candle holder: £15 – £30
Raku lamp bases: £95 – £170
Stoneware
Stoneware pots are functional and can be used every day. They have been fired to 1250 degrees C. They can usually be used in the dishwasher, oven and microwave.
As an indication:
Bowls: £10 – £80
Mugs: £20 – £30
Creamers: £10 – £18
Coffee / Cider cups: £16 – £30
